Defibrillator Training, CPR, Children's Program Director Opening and Golf Tourny
The TBA community has just received an anonymous donation of a defibrillator. For now, it will be located at the Winter's cottage at 157 Centre Beach Road as of Friday August 10.
There will be a training session on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 12:30 pm
at the clubhouse for anyone interested in learning how to use the device.
CPR + Water Safety Course
Following the recent tragic drowning at Thunder Beach, many of you have requested the desire to update your first aid qualifications.
Red Cross has offered to come to Thunder Beach and give a CPR and Water Safety course. The class will be held at the Club House. The course runs for 4 hours and includes a lunch or snack break (bring your own).
It costs $63.75 and is valid for 3 years.
The next session for Tuesday Aug 21st
. There are two times available - one group at 10am-2pm and second group at 2pm-6pm.

Children's Program Director Opening
The TBA has an opening on the Board of Directors for the Children's Program Director position. The Children's Program Director is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Children's program, which includes the craft camp, sports camp, tennis camp, movie nights, Wednesday night activities and teen nights, as well as the July and August Field Days.
As part of the position, the Children's Program Director will hire, provide training and supervise the counselling staff which includes a Head Counsellor, counsellors and Counsellors-in-Training. As a member of the Board, you would be required to attend 4-6 meetings (conference calls) throughout the year as well as the Annual General Meeting which is held in August of each year.
