July Field Day: Canada 150 Edition
Hello Thunder Beachers!We hope everyone is getting ready for another fun summer at The Beach. This year, we’re excited to announce a special Canada 150 themed Field Day on Saturday, July 1st, 2017.
In addition to the traditional races and events, we’re going to be celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation with music, BBQ hot dogs, cake, and offerings from local vendors. There will also be limited edition Thunder Beach Canada 150 apparel for sale.
The event starts at 10:00 a.m. with the singing of our national anthem and flag raising (we aim to wrap-up Field Day at the usual time). We encourage everyone to come dressed in red and white to show your Canadian pride and to help us kick-off summer 2017!
